Meet Dr. Rasoul Mokabberi
Rasoul Mokabberi, MD is Board Certified in four specialties: Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. He is also a Fellow of the American Heart Rhythm Society and the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Mokabberi’s training includes a Residency in Internal Medicine at a Cleveland Clinic Hospital, and Fellowships in Cardiology and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at Geisinger Medical Center. He has written multiple articles in prestigious medical journals and presented at national Cardiology meetings.
Dr. Mokabberi is married and has a daughter. Committed to keeping a healthy lifestyle, he regularly enjoys biking, nature walks, and spending time with his family. He advocates exercise, diet, and having fun to keep a good quality of life.
Prior to establishing MyCardiologist practice, Dr. Mokabberi practiced for 8 years at Kaiser, where he headed the Cardiac Device Clinic and was responsible in expanding cardiac device clinics and remote monitoring of patients with cardiac devices in addition to his other cardiology responsibilities. As an expert in abnormal heart rhythms (arrhythmias), he has trained many cardiology physicians and other clinical staff on cardiac devices (Pacemaker and Defibrillators) to provide the best cardiology services.
He enjoys working with his patients to provide treatment options and help determine the best solutions for their lifestyles. In his practice, preventative medicine is a priority with complex procedures and devices performed only when necessary for improved quality of life.
Meet Dr. Arthur Selvan
Arthur Selvan, MD is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiology and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, and his Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Baylor College of Medicine. He is an active member of both the Orange County and the California Medical Associations. Having practiced in Orange County for many years, he has seen the expansion of the practice of Cardiology services. He frequently attends conferences to keep up to date with new technologies. Dr. Selvan specializes in cardiac catheterization and percutaneous intervention (angioplasty).
Dr. Selvan takes time to get to know his patients. By understanding their goals he develops unique treatment plans for them. When procedures are needed, Dr. Selvan explains the options to help the patient make their decision for the best lifestyle outcomes.
Dr. Selvan is married with two grown children and is a proud grandfather of four. He keeps his heart healthy by skiing and playing golf, but also enjoys down time with classical music and fine wines. His biggest passion outside the office, however, is without a doubt, are his grandchildren and his family.

Meet Dr. Miyako Igari
Miyako Igari MD is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Echocardiography. Her training has taken her all corners of the United States. She studied Medicine at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, then completed Internship and Residency at LAC+USC Medical Center in East Los Angeles. Her general cardiology fellowship was done at the Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans, followed by an subspecialty fellowship in Advanced Echocardiography at Columbia University. Her interests in cardiology services include stress testing, transesophageal echocardiography, cardiac rehabilitation, and lifestyle education. She loves her patients and takes a patient-centered approach to clinical practice. In her spare time Dr. Igari enjoys skiing, exploring cities by bicycle, and planning trips for her family. She looks forward to enjoying life in beautiful Orange County with her husband and toddler son.
